Course Description

This course is intended for L1 ISTN students. The unit gives a first experience of cybersecurity through a panorama of privacy, system security, reverse engineering, cryptography, and related topics.

This page covers the system-security part of the course. It focuses on the following questions:

  • What are we considering as a system?
  • How to identify threats?
  • What’s an attacker model, and how to define it?
  • How did cyber-threats evolve in the last decades?
